Day 4 took off with Chloe, and was one of the days with a majority of designers I like on the same day, Uma Wang, Rick Owens & isabel Marant!

  • Chloe. Natacha Ramsay-Levi’s fifth runway collection shows a more bohemian side of her as a designer, with blush and peach colours, feminine suits and flowy looks, the collection also adds a lot of boho accessories. Something interesting to add is the size of the bags. I have seen this in other shows and next year, bags are going to be bigger and roomier. Hopefully is not the end of the mini bags, I love them if I am honest.

  • Y / Project. I have to admit I was not really liking all the spiral situation in some of the looks, but as the collection was going by, I started to really enjoy them. From satin suits to metallic jackets, asymmetry and elegance was predominant as well as the mix of fabrics. The use of everyday elements with runway options mixed really wear to create original and magical looks.

  • Rick Owens. Huge platforms, eccentric headpieces, colours, and shapes. I think these are the words to describe the collection. The collection had a huge inspiration by the Aztec shapes and patterns. The designer did not hold back in playing with colours, patterns and shapes. The gowns were jaw dropping, with different textures and materials. An absolute delight to watch.

  • Isabel Marant. Just by looking at the first looks of the collection, I thought COACHELLA straight away. The western vibe, the denim, the colours and the bohemian style and the boots, they were all screaming festival. The collection then switched to a more feminine and sop[sophisticated style, with a crochet style looks.Floral patterns and cinched waists were predominant in the latest looks of the show, sophisticated and feminine dresses and jumpsuits. Personally I loved the collection, as well as the fact that this year, including in other shows, models of different ages and sizes are walking the runway. A fresh thing to see in the fashion industry.
